STOMP out cancer!


During lunch, The "Relay for Life" advisory students will sell illustrations of shoes to be decorated in support of cancer awareness.
The illustrations are $0.25 and can be dedicated in remembrance or honor of someone with cancer.
They will be displayed in the cafeteria for everyone to view.

LMS Canned Food Drive
                 
                      
Lufkin Middle School begins the Annual Canned Food Drive
on Monday, November 3, 2014.
The drive will run through Friday, November 21st. Homeroom classes will bring cans and make a deposit to the campus food bank in Room 607 (Robinson). Class totals will be kept to determine the winners. There will be nine homeroom winners (three per grade level). The winners will be announced Monday, November 24th. Donut and juice parties will be the reward. This is a service project of the LMS National Honor Society.
                                                                    
Million Word Challenge!
Students VS Teachers
Students are competing against teachers in reading the most words from books. Any book counts but the reading material must be a book. The word count will be updated in the library to allow students and teachers to see the winning team. Please encourage your student to take part in this exciting challenge!
